In Omniverse, for both Bens, he looks similar to his appearance in Ultimate Alien. He now has darker skin and his eyes are no longer connected to the fire on his head, like Alan Albright (the Pyronite-human hybrid Plumber's son).ġ6-year-old Heatblast made his Omniverse debut in "A Jolt From the Past" to chase Corvo, while 11-year-old Heatblast debuted in "Trouble Helix" to fight Malware on Galvan B. Heatblast reappears in "Viktor: The Spoils," when 16-year-old Ben uses him to defeat King Xarion. After "Ken 10", he has flaming shoulders and his crust doesn't cover his hands as much.īen later regained access to Heatblast in "Ben 10: Ultimate Alien" "Ben 10,000 Returns", and 10-year-old Heatblast in "The Forge of Creation". This returned to normal once Ben got over his cold.

In the original series episode “Side Effects”, Ben caught a cold, which gave Heatblast cryokinetic powers instead of his normal pyrokinetic abilities. Ben accidentally transformed into Heatblast and started a wildfire in the first episode of the original series, “And Then There Were 10”, after trying to remove the Omnitrix when it first attached to him. In the original series, Heatblast is Ben's first alien transformation. Heatblast is essentially "living magma", so everything he touches melts or catches fire. He is a magma-based alien composed of a bright inner magma body covered by a reddish-brown charcoal-like crust. Heatblast is a Pyronite from the star Pyros.
